Over $100,000 in prizes is available.

 

All 10 finalists will receive mentoring and other support to help them develop their idea and compete for the prizes. An initial $5,000 prize will be granted to each finalist to help them develop their idea and get ready for the pitch event. 

 

The Grand Prize - $50,000 (sponsored by Aibnb)

Airbnb, our major partner is sponsoring a $50,000 prize for the best and most innovative sharing economy idea to be implemented in South Australia. This major prize will help seed funding the winner's initiative, taking it to the next level.

This prize will be decided by the judges of the final pitch. 

 

The Zero Project Adelaide Homelessness Prize - $5,000 (sponsored by the Don Dunstan Foundation)

The Don Dunstan Foundation believes that the sharing economy provides opportunities for the community to better use existing resources to address homelessness and is pleased to sponsor The Zero Project Adelaide Homelessness Prize.

The Don Dunstan Foundation is leading a coalition of organisations and individuals seeking to achieve functional zero homelessness in the city of Adelaide. This prize will be awarded to the idea that will best address homelessness in Adelaide. To be eligible for consideration of this prize, the idea must either address the needs of people experiencing homelessness.

This prize will be decided by the judges of the final pitch. 

 

The People's Choice Prize - $10,000

Would you like to support the finalists and see your favourite initiative taking off? Come to our Share Challenge pitch event to be held during Open State and you will be able to vote 'on the spot' for the sharing economy idea of your preference, giving finalists the chance to win a cash prize of $10,000. 

This prize will be decided by the public attending the pitch event at Open State.
